Welcome

Dr. Barb Georges

Welcome to Glenbrook South!

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to Glenbrook South High School.  Our school is a vibrant and diverse school community where our Titan values of respect, inclusion, curiosity, and pride guide everything we do. As principal, I’m proud to serve a school that not only celebrates excellence in academics, athletics, activities and the arts, but also places a deep emphasis on student well-being, belonging, and growth.

At Glenbrook South, our mission is to ensure that every student feels a profound sense of belonging to our school community.  We believe that fostering an environment where everyone is valued, heard and respected is fundamental to both personal and academic growth. We work collectively to achieve this goal by embracing our Titan Values as we engage with each other. We ask all stakeholders to be respectful in their interactions, be inclusive in their approach to others, stay curious in their quest for knowledge, and take pride in their contributions to our school.  By living through our values, all Titans can be safe and belong at GBS.

Our students inspire us daily with their curiosity, creativity, and resilience. Whether they’re performing on stage, competing on the field, serving others in the community or simply showing kindness in the hallway, they remind us of the power and promise of public education. We know that their success is a result of strong partnerships between students, staff, families and the broader community, and we are deeply grateful for your continued support.

As you explore our website, I encourage you to learn more about our programs, opportunities, and the many ways we celebrate and support student life at GBS. If you have any questions or ideas, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We are here to listen and work together in support of our students.

Sincerely,
Dr. Barbara Georges
