Freshmen

At Glenbrook South High School, freshmen orientation is known as "The Titan Experience" for all incoming freshmen. Students participate in a variety of activities including meeting with their counselor, a scavenger hunt, and a We Are Titans social activity. 

August 11, 2025 Schedule

• 8 - 8:30 a.m. – Students may visit the Bookstore to pick up their textbooks, Chromebook, gym uniform, and more. Please bring a bag to easily carry your new belongings. 
• 8:15-8:35 a.m. - Drop off students 
  • Students may enter through the following doors: 
    • Door D (near main entrance) - south side of building
    • Door O (auditorium) - west side of building
    • Door OO (fieldhouse) - north side of building
• The Titan Experience concludes at noon. After that students can pick up their Chromebook and/or textbooks (appointment needed) and/or walk their class schedule
• 11:15 a.m. - Titan Experience concludes and freshmen may walk their class schedule
• 11:15 a.m. - 3 p.m. - Students may visit the Bookstore to pick up their textbooks, Chromebook, gym uniform, and more. Please bring a bag to easily carry your new belongings. 

Students should wait until the first day of school to bring course materials such as books, chromebooks, etc. They are not needed during orientation.

Enrollment

Each year, students that have attended a Glenbrook High School in the prior year are asked to confirm intent to return in the fall.  This process typically opens in June. 

The annual student enrollment process is completed entirely online and consists of the steps outlined below.  All steps must be completed for all students by the first day of school.  Students with incomplete enrollment records will be pulled from class to contact their parents and may be excluded from school if their records remain incomplete on the fifth day of school. 

Annual Registration

Annual registration begins in April 

Registration is online and consists of completing an enrollment verification application, submitting required health documents for the student and paying student fees. All steps must be completed for the student to attend school the following year. Students with incomplete enrollment records will be pulled from class to contact their parents and may be excluded if their records remain incomplete on the fifth day of school.
