Varsity Tryouts

All tryouts will take place in the Titan Dome

• Monday, October 31: 3:30-6:30 p.m.
• Tuesday, November 1: 3:30-6:30 p.m.

JV (Soph) Tryouts

All tryouts will take place in the West Gym

• Monday, October 31: 3:30-6 p.m.
• Tuesday, November 1: 3:30-6 p.m.

Freshmen Tryouts

All tryouts will take place in the Fieldhouse

• Monday, October 31: 3:30-6 p.m.
• Tuesday, November 1: 3:30-6 p.m.

Any level may add a third day, Wednesday, November 2, for tryouts in the same locations with similar times if needed.

Scott Namecek

Head GBS Girls Basketball Coach beginning with the 2019-2020 season. Varsity Asst. GBS Girls Basketball Coach from 2014-2019 (five seasons). Head GBS Boys Basketball Coach from 2006-2012 (six seasons).
Fr/So/JV Basketball Coach at Homewood-Flossmoor 1995-2006 (eleven seasons). Volunteer Head Soph. Coach at Charleston High School 1993-1995 (two seasons). High school mathematics teacher since 1995-1996 school year. Masters degrees earned in Mathematics Education and Educational Administration.
Undergraduate degree is Mathematics Education from Eastern Illinois University. Graduate of Lyons Township High School in LaGrange, IL. Captain of the boys basketball team senior year at LTHS.
