Homecoming 2025

Main event

The homecoming dance will take place on October 11, 2025 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at GBS.

Tickets

$20 with an activity pass
$25 without $40 at the door (cash/card)
VIP Entrance if you buy early in the Bookstore!

Don’t forget money for food trucks in the courtyard! Riobamba Taco Truck and Kona Ice!
Guest? Must be a current high school student. (One guest per GBS student.) Pick up a permission slip in the Student Activities Office!

Homecoming parade

On October 11 at 10 a.m. kick-off from St. David’s Church, heading east down Glenview Road to Jackman Park. Featuring banners from our GBS student clubs and activities, the GBS Marching Band and floats from the Freshman, Sophomore, Junior and Senior classes!

Varsity football game

Watch the GBS Titans take on Deerfield Warriors under the lights on Friday October 10 at 7 p.m.
Adults: $6 | Students: $3 | FREE with Activity Pass
Stick around for a FIREWORKS FINALE at the end of the game!

Event information

Turnabout will take place on February 28, 2026 from 7- 9 p.m. at the GBS Titan Dome.

Tickets

Tickets are $10 a person and can be purchased at the bookstore through February 10, 2026.

Monday February 23: City highway vs. country roads
- Side Quest: Find the Tiny Cowboy hidden in the school. Return them to the SAO to claim your candy!
Tuesday February 24: Apres ski/winter whiteout
- Visit The Candy Cloud pop up during lunch blocks to purchase a specialty lemonade.
- Is your snow gear too bright? Prove you dressed up and snag a free pair of sunglasses in the SAO!
Wednesday February 25: Dynamic duos
- The Activity: Friendship Bracelet station @ State & Madison. Make one, take one, trade one.
- Twin with a friend, a class, a team or a department!
Thursday February 26: Island state of mind
- Refresh with Pink Lemonade during lunch blocks.
- Catch us handing out free flower necklaces!
Friday February 27: Blue and gold
- The Showdown: Class Competition during Block 1. Wear your Blue & Gold and win prizes!

Prom

Prom 2026

Event information

Prom will take place on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Pinstripes in Northbrook, 1150 Willow Rd. from 7-10:30 p.m. Pinstripes will be closed to the public on the night of prom. The cost of the ticket for prom includes: appetizers, dinner, dancing, desserts, photo booth, arcade, bowling, and favors.
