Career and Technical Education

The Career and Technical Education department offers all students an opportunity to explore their interests and career pathways in the three broad content areas of applied technology, business education and family and consumer science. In preparing for college and career, students  have opportunities to earn  dual credit, certifications, credentials, internships, and participation in competitive events at the regional, state and national levels, through multiple clubs.

Design, problem solving, critical thinking and creating products prepares students to persevere in authentic experiences. 
Business Education courses include accounting, business law, entrepreneurship business incubator, introduction to business strategies, investment strategies, marketing, Business technology includes courses in graphic design, game design, and web design.


Family and Consumer Science courses include sequences in early childhood education, foods and nutrition, fashion design, and interior design as well as a psychology of living course.


Technology Education offers sequences in architecture, automotive, engineering, and woodworking.
