The Glenview Northbrook Coalition for Youth is inviting local students, parents and community members to attend a meeting from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm Thursday, November 30th in the Northbrook Village Hall Board Room, 1225 Cedar Lane, Northbrook. The topic will be “Binge Drinking & Social Hosting in Our Community.
The Parenting Highwire: Encouraging Performance Without Excessive Pressure.
The Glenbrook South Parents Association fall parent education event took place Wednesday, October 18, 2017. The featured speaker was Dr. Renee Dominguez, Executive Director of Family Service Center, a not-for-profit mental health agency serving the communities of Wilmette, Glenview, Northbrook, and Kenilworth. Following Dr. Dominguez’s presentation, a panel of Student Services faculty from Glenbrook South High School joined her to answer questions from the audience. The purpose of the evening was to provide parents with strategies to maintain a healthy, balanced perspective as they encourage academic success for their children.

Freshman Parent Coffee
The Freshman Parent Coffee took place Friday, September 22, 2017. Glenbrook South guidance counselors met with freshman parents/guardians to discuss freshman year topics such as report cards, transcripts, grade point average, academic resources, guidance curriculum, 4-year planning and testing.
