Tis the season for lost and found...Fa la la la la, la la la laaaa! Get your lost and found off the tables in front of the SAC BEFORE NEXT THURSDAY! All remaining lost and found is being DONATED next Thursday (If you lost a North Face, Patagonia, Columbia, etc., check in the SAO)!

Come to the winter play, Twelve Angry Jurors, TONIGHT at 4:00 pm or 7:30 pm in the Lyceum. Tickets are available in the SAO or at the door. Tickets are $7.00 or one free with an activities pass.

Grab lunch or dinner TOMORROW at Chipotle on Willow Road from 4:00 pm-8:00 pm. Mention GBS Habitat For Humanity to support those in need!

All Students- Auditions for Comedy Troupe are NEXT MONDAY at 3:30 pm in Room 557. See you there!

ATTENTION SENIORS: There will be informational meetings about Senior Project after school at 3:30 pm, NEXT TUESDAY and WEDNESDAY in the Library Classroom:  come get a glimpse of how you might finish your career at South!

UNIDOS members are asking for donations such as toiletries, gloves, hats, etc for the elderly. Boxes are located in all academic offices. Let’s make it a very Merry Christmas for the elderly at Casa Central!

Attention all Juniors: Would you like SAT and/or ACT practice? If so, sign up for the GBS SAT and ACT Prep classes. Evening classes begin on January 22nd and continue through March. Sign up at the bookstore now! The deadline to sign-up is January 10th, but try to sign-up before Winter Break!

Japanese high school students from Japan are visiting early in March, March 2-9, 2018. If you are interested in hosting a Japanese student, please contact Japanese teacher Mrs. Makita, in World Languages, for more information.  

Attention Junior Art Students! Interested in submitting a Portfolio application for AP Studio Art? Come see the Art Department to pick up your AP Art application.

Attention Sophomores and Juniors, it’s not too early to start thinking about an experience that has changed the lives of nearly a thousand GBS students as well as countless families across the country fighting poverty...The GBS Summer Habitat Program will again be tracking up to the UP of Michigan, applications will be available after break online..Dates are posted on the Habitat Bulletin Board in the new pit!!

Join a Service-Trip to Orlando after Finals! (January 18th-21st). Support Make-a-Wish families staying at Give Kids the World who are enjoying their trip to Disney World. After our days of service, we will have fun at the Magic Kingdom. This trip is hosted by SaLT (Service & Learning Travel) and is not sponsored by D225. Happy Holidays from the Beck’s Bookstore! For the entire month of December, Beck’s will be offering a 30% discount on spirit wear EVERYDAY, not just Friday’s!  This is only on apparel (not on books or other items).

Interact members - please remember that TODAY is the last day to apply to be a junior leader! It’s a great opportunity to play a bigger role in service and our community!

SAFE
If you are interested in promoting body positivity as well as support awareness for eating disorders, join SAFE! In an upcoming meeting, we have a nutritionist coming to speak about balanced diets and eating disorders. We are also planning some events outside of school, including photo shoots, cooking classes, and fundraisers! Join us in Room 345 every Thursday after school!

SOAR
SOAR is looking for students who want to participate in a photography project about identity. Come to a SOAR meeting and see if this is a good fit for you. We meet Thursdays after school in Room 224. Contact Ms. Ekstrand in Social Studies if you have any questions.

World Culture Celebration
Join your fellow Titans on a “Musical Voyage” around the world at the World Cultures Celebration, SATURDAY, February 3rd from noon till 3:00 pm. Enjoy music, singing, dancing, poetry, fashion, and food from around the world. You can learn some common phrases in a new language too. Come celebrate the diversity of Glenbrook South.
