Hey Titans!  With well over 80 clubs and activities, including academic clubs, competitive teams, cultural clubs, special interest groups, and more, GBS has something for everyone!  Check out the Activities page on the GBS website for a club list, club descriptions, and even Zoom links to club meetings.  Meet new friends, discover a cause, be creative- get involved!


A reminder from the Dean’s Office- In order to expedite entry into the building, download your ID and the COVID questionnaire on your cell phone and have them ready when you approach the kiosks.


Having homework problems? Want help studying for a test?  Writing an essay?  Want to practice a presentation?  TLC tutors are here to help!! Join us on our Zoom link any day during open hours and we’d be happy to assist you!  Contact Ms. Cooper or Mr. Smith with any questions.


Seniors and their parents are invited to make individual appointments to receive assistance in completing their FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) forms on Fridays during the month of October. Appointments can be scheduled with Jennifer Swanson at


Last year’s inductees to the National Honor Society should upload Service Verification Forms to the NHS class in Google Classroom by Friday, November 6th.


Titans Helping Titans will be holding its fourth annual Winter Clothing Drive. We are asking for donations of new or gently used winter outerwear (jackets, hats,boots, gloves, scarves, spiritwear) and everyday items (sweaters, sweatshirts). All sizes and styles for children and adults are greatly appreciated. Donations may be dropped off in the Main Entrance lobby through Tuesday, November 10th. If you would like to make a monetary donation, checks can be made out to Titans Helping Titans at Glenbrook South and turned into the SAO. More information can be found here


The GBS fall play Lost and Found will premiere on YouTube next Friday, November 6th, at 7:30pm.  Come hear students belt out Broadway songs and act their hearts out!  YouTube link coming soon!


College reps will be virtually visiting GBS now through mid-November. Students must sign up prior to the visit to receive a Zoom link. Visits run from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. most Mondays through Thursdays this Fall. Log into your Naviance account for a complete list of College visits.


Now through December- If you are interested in receiving help with filing FAFSA, please use this link to make an appointment with our ISAC Representative. All appointments will be through Zoom. In addition, ISAC will be hosting online workshops to assist with this process. Click here for a complete list of dates and to register for one of the sessions.


Are you a GBS student that has a job? If so, would you be willing to be interviewed on camera about your experiences to share with other students at GBS? Please contact Mr. Mulloy (  in the Special Education Department about this project.

Congratulations to the Boys and Girls Cross Country teams for qualifying for the IHSA Sectional Meet which will be held at Hoffman Estates High School tomorrow, Saturday, October 31st. Good luck Titan Runners!


Congratulations to our Sectional Swim & Dive Team of Allie Bosch, Liz Duncan, Kaitlyn Evans, Emma Hogan, Maddie O'Mera, Emsela Orucevic, Skye Slade, Jacki Stadler, and Lauren Vuong on a great IHSA Sectionals performance. Congratulations to Divers, Maddie O'Mera for her 5th place finish and Jacki Stadler for her 2nd place finish! We are incredibly proud of your hard work and stellar dives at the Sectional Meet.

Girls Water Polo will be hosting open pools starting next Monday, November 2nd.  No experience necessary.  Everyone is welcome.  Contact Coach Stancik in Science if interested.


Any girl interested in playing girls basketball this coming winter should reach out by email to Coach Scott Nemecek to get the open gym schedule.  Tryouts begin on Monday, November 16th.
